Lovely and peaceful “Garottage” within walking distance to the beach in Jekyll Island! Clean, cozy and comfortable - I appreciated the snacks and the use of a bike to enjoy the trail system on the island- so much fun!! Thanks to Don and Marcia for their hospitality 🙏!

Great place to stay on Jekyll. Very clean, great location and peaceful. Don was quick to respond when I had trouble getting in with the keypad (batteries were dead). Bicycle could use some maintenance as the chain kept falling off, but I didn't mention it to them while I was there. I did wish there was some comfortable seating inside or outside, but that's not such a big deal since there are plenty of places to relax on the island. Shower was fantastic, as stated.

This place is a gem and well positioned in the community :) We had a wonderful stay, the house was super clean and had all the little features you hope to have at home like coffee, laundry soap and toys for the kids. Definitely will be back this summer :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Don and Marsha’s place. Perfect space for two people with everything we needed including coffee and snacks which were a pleasant surprise. My 6’2 husband really appreciated the high rain shower head and the big shower. We loved having the beach cruiser bikes for riding around the island. The morning walks on the beach were just a few blocks away. We grilled on the private patio and cooked a few things on the induction cooktop. Definitely would stay there again next time we’re on Jekyll Island.

This home was gorgeous! We absolutely loved our stay! Everything was just as listed and there were several small touches that helped make our stay even more wonderful. The attention to detail and cleanliness is what blew me away, though!! We will definitely be back!

Don and Marcia’s place was perfect for me and my nearly 4 year old Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Grayson. The beach was an easy walk to the stair access over the dunes to the beach. We went to Driftwood Beach before following the helpful instructions that allowed for easy check-in. The lighted paths, private outdoor patio, bike ready for my use, and dog treats for Grayson were all just perfect. I would definitely stay again!

This home is comfortable and has all the provisions anyone might need. The neighborhood is quiet, and the location is perfect for bikers. Don and Marcia are gracious hosts and they are available to answer any questions.

We had a fantastic stay. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and perfect for us. The location was ideal and made it easy to walk or bike everywhere on Jekyll Island. The hosts were thoughtful and welcoming, and the whole trip was relaxing from start to finish. Highly recommend and would happily return.

Lovely cottage well equipped for a couple who cooks their meals! Location was perfect for accessing the bike trail - which is how we traveled around the island. Don & Marcia are very friendly and welcoming- offering excellent suggestions! We could highly recommend this cottage.

Don and Marcia's place was just like the pictures, very clean and kept up. We took the bikes to the beach and enjoyed seeing the island using this house as a base.
