This is a cozy, detached garage / studio space with a separate entrance from the main house. Whether you rent this space with or without the main house, you will feel like you are in your own little universe thanks to thoughtful insulation and your own fenced in entrance and backyard patio with pavers, plants, and outdoor seating. You’ll have everything you need to enjoy the beach and work remotely. Includes bath and beach towels.

This Airbnb was great in more ways than one! Provided helpful information in a binder and on the fridge, plus the outdoor amenities (bikes, beach chairs, grill, table, etc) was definitely a plus! Short walking distance to the beach, and nice bike rides to the Beach House restaurant, golf course, and further exploring. The “garattage” was just perfect for us two and our small dog for a long weekend stay. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend at Jekyll!

Don and Marcia were great hosts. I had trouble unlocking the door and Don arrived quickly to help. It was user error - totally my fault! There were snacks ready and it was nice being able to decompress from a full day of work and travel.

Peaceful, quiet, and as natural as possible. That’s why I go to Jekyll. Don and Marcia’s “Garottage” was a complement to these Jekyll characteristics. We truly felt right at home among the natives. Of course, Jekyll is still Jekyll. Let’s hope it stays that way forever. Thank you for having us!

I absolutely loved this little studio for my week stay. I was comfortable, the place is very convenient to the beach, extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Everything felt brand new and updated. The shower is amazing! The little private patio with a gate is very cute. The owners are so nice and accommodating and made sure I had everything I needed. It was very quiet and just a really nice neighborhood all around. I will definitely be booking this place again!

Don and Marcia could not have been better hosts. From booking to checkout I was assisted whenever needed. They live close by and always respond to any questions or concerns within minutes. The rental was all I wanted and hoped for.

We had a fantastic weekend at the Garottage! We enjoyed getting to share the space with our pup, and found the location to be very convenient for exploring around the island. The unit is just as cute as the photos suggest and our hosts were super friendly and helpful with checking in and recommending fun things to do. I highly recommend for others.

Marcia and Don offer a great accommodation. Everything (within reason) was thought of and provided. The “Garottage” was very clean and the location was perfect for privacy while not being too far from food or beaches. We will definitely be returning customers.

The location is easy to get to and a short drive from anything you want to do. Don and Marcia were great hosts, everything was in order when we arrived and they checked in with us after check out to make sure we hadnt forgotten anything. Its a most-everything-in-one-room place, minus the bathroom and laundry being in a second room. Simple kitchen area but with plenty of equipment to cook meals there if youre wanting to save on eating out every night and a full size fridge for ingredients/left overs. The mini courtyard/patio was nice for enjoying morning coffee. 10/10

Don and Marcia were very friendly and welcoming. They were very responsive to our needs/requests. They are absolutely wonderful super hosts, probably the best we’ve ever had!! The apartment was great—very clean, nostalgic, and comfortable. Plus we enjoyed our own private fenced courtyard with gas grill and table and chairs which we used. Thanks so much Don!!
